3. Fitness Participation and Liability

• Participation in fitness activities involves inherent risks, including potential injury.
• Members should exercise within their personal abilities and follow applicable safety instructions.
• Members may be required to sign a separate liability waiver before participating in activities or using our facilities.
• Our membership agreements and signed liability waivers govern the specific rights and responsibilities associated with participation.

Program Description

Metro KC Fitness offers SMS messaging programs through GymMaster and Twilio to communicate with members and prospective members who have provided the appropriate consent. Depending on the SMS program selected, messages may include:

Booking and Membership Notifications

• Class booking confirmations
• Appointment and class reminders
• Reservation changes and cancellations
• Scheduling notifications
• Membership-related account notifications

Promotional and Marketing Messages

• Membership specials and discounts

Consent to Receive SMS Messages

Participation in our SMS messaging programs is voluntary. Individuals may separately opt in to receive booking and membership notifications or promotional and marketing messages through an authorized Metro KC Fitness registration or signup process.

By opting in to a particular SMS program, you authorize Metro KC Fitness to send text messages related to that program to the mobile phone number provided. Consent to receive promotional messages is separate from consent to receive booking notifications.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing a membership or receiving services from Metro KC Fitness.

Opt-Out Instructions

Reply STOP to any Metro KC Fitness SMS message to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. No additional messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply START to resubscribe.
