About Our Gym in Briarcliff

We are more than just a KC gym. We are more than a collection of weights and cardio machines. We are a full functioning gym who employs staff and fitness experts that truly care for your well being. At the inception of our facility, we had one passion: “Make feeling great a reality.” Our passion has not wavered.

Maybe you’re new to the workout world. Maybe you’re a seasoned expert. Or maybe you’re somewhere in between. At Metro KC Fitness, we can either take a hands on approach to your fitness goals, or let you come and go as you please. It really is your decision. We have community if you desire a group of like-minded people, or a 24 hour gym which allows you to come at any hour of the night if you desire seclusion – or just work a different kind of schedule!

Our desire is to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be. Knowledge is king, and we’ll help you understand the ins and outs of how to do this – because you can do this! It’s not overly complicated, but there is a balanced mixture of exercise and nutrition that plays an integral role in the overall health of your body.

The gym is available for you 24 hours a day! Our managers are available during the hours listed below. You are always welcome to stop in, however in an effort to make sure you are taken care of to the best of our abilities, please call, text or email ahead for an appointment!

Our staffed office hours:

Mon-Thurs 10am-7pm

Friday 10am-4pm

Saturday 9am-1pm

Closed on Sunday!

We currently offer a Cardio class on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. Your first class is free – reach out to our location manager for more details! 

Yes! You can receive a complimentary session with your membership, with various different pricing options based on your goals!

Yes! Please have your friend follow the Day Pass link, the link in our instagram bios, or stop by the office to purchase one before starting your workout.

Jeremy Harr

Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, I had a passion for all things sports. My success in track and field is what brought me to Kansas City to join UMKC’s program as a Jumper and Sprinter. While at UMKC, I earned All-Conference honors in the Western Athletic Conference 9 times, was a team captain for 2 years, and became a conference champion in 2017.

I’ve been a personal trainer since 2019, and I’m very passionate about helping kids build their athletic foundation so they too can earn a scholarship to college and receive a higher education. Creating a community while helping people with their overall health, strength, and sports performance needs and seeing people succeed is what I strive for!

Amanda Gastl

Working out in my early 20s, I fell in love with the changes I began to feel and see within myself. As I gained strength physically, I also grew stronger mentally. I found that setting and accomplishing goals for myself built a confidence that I never had, sparking a passion for helping others find their own confidence through working out and crushing their goals.

I believe in prescribing exercises that are tailored to a person’s needs in order for them to have lasting success in their fitness journey, and that’s what I love doing!

Shane Koehler

My passion is to help everyone who wants to take that first step into improving their own quality of life. If you’re looking to improve anything from your athleticism, body composition, strength and flexibility, over to your mental health and confidence, I’m your guy! I make it a priority to show you what you’re capable of and to remove any self-doubt you may have about yourself.
